  • UNEKO is a Czech aluminium foundry with a tradition
  • Aluminium castings have been produced and supplied by us since 1991
  • We annually cast 250 tonnes of castings into sand moulds
  • Our machining room machines produce aluminium alloy castings
  • We do heat treatment for the castings and further improve them
  • Each day we control the quality of production and poured materials
  • We test machined castings and we check them against customer requests
  • 80+ company employees work for our customers
  • UNEKO’s annual turnover of more than 5 mil. EUR
  • We have customers in more than 20 countries (Europe, America, Asia, Australia)
  • We comply with agreed quality guidelines, meet deadlines and have affordable prices

History

  • 1991 – UNEKO spol. s r. o. established - founding and current majority shareholders are Zdeněk Šarman and Ing. Ivo Makový
  • 1992 – Machining plant in Nové Heřminovy acquired
  • 1997 – First CNC machining tools purchased - machining park renovated after extensive flooding
  • 2001 – Invested into a production building in Zátor
  • 2003 – ISO 9001 quality management system introduced
  • 2007 – Foundry constructed - technology expanded and modernized to prepare and recycle self-hardening formation mixtures
  • 2008 – New administrative building constructed and production operation in Nové Heřminovy completed
  • 2011 – Metallurgical laboratory completely modernized
  • 2013 – Machining shop park expanded and modernized
